University of Alberta School of Public Health professor Timothy Caulfield, one of our 2013 Trudeau Fellows, just won the Canadian Science Writers’ Association (CSWA)'s Science in Society General Book Award.

Caulfield's widely read book from 2015, Is Gwyneth Paltrow Wrong About Everything?, published by Penguin Random House, took home the trophy during the CSWA's Book Awards competition in conjunction with the Canada Book Day celebrations on 23 April 2016.

Caulfield writes extensively on health, science & public policy in several publications, from The Globe & Mail to Policy Options.

He serves as research director of the Health Law and Policy Group at the University of Alberta. He is also a member of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
