2027 Scholarship: Applications Opening Soon

The application process for the Foundation’s 2027 Scholarship will open on September 1. In the meantime, prospective applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria to make sure their profile meets the requirements before the form opens.

UPCOMING EVENT

2026 FOUNDATION NATIONAL CONFERENCE

From November 24 to 27, 2026, the Foundation will hold its National Conference in Winnipeg under the theme “The City as a Place of Belonging”. The event will bring together alumni and active members of the Foundation community for keynote presentations, interactive workshops, panel discussions and interdisciplinary conversations.

Since its creation in 2001, the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation has promoted graduate studies in the humanities and social sciences. It supports PhD students (Scholars), presents research awards to eminent university researchers (Fellows) and builds strong connections with leading figures in the professionals field (Mentors).
