Dyane Adam, 2008 Trudeau mentor, has accepted a new role as the president of a board that will oversee the planning for a new French university in Ontario. Adams has previously taken on the roles of Principal of York University’s francophone Glendon campus and of Commissioner for Official Languages. Many in Ontario’s francophone community have been pushing for a new French language university in the province for some time. at the press conference announcing her appointment, Adams called this a historic moment and expressed how proud she is to be taking on this new role.
