Josh Basseches, a 2026 Mentor with the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation, has been appointed President of Museum Search & Reference (MS&R), a North American firm specializing in executive and professional recruitment for the museum sector. 

His appointment comes at a time when, in his view, the museum sector is undergoing significant change, prompting institutions to rethink the kind of leadership they need to evolve. At the helm of MS&R, he plans to draw on his experience, international network, and deep knowledge of the field to support museums through these transformations.
