The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is proud to celebrate 2014 Scholar Wendell Nii Laryea Adjetey’s outstanding achievement. His book, Cross-Border Cosmopolitans: The Making of a Pan-African North America, has been honored with Canada’s History’s 2024 Governor General’s History Award for Scholarly Research.
Dr. Adjetey’s work explores Black activism across Canada and the United States, shedding light on the Pan-African movement and its impact on Black liberation.
