Dän k'é Keghaala uy'é. Kajet dän ích'é. Nadia Joe (Keghaala) is Nlaka'pamux on her mother's side and southern Tutchone/Tlingit -- belonging to the Crow Clan of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations -- on her father's side.
Born and raised in Yukon and schooled on the land, Nadia was able to pursue post-secondary studies and gain a more complete understanding of the world.
She completed her B.Sc. in chemistry, M.Sc. in environmental management and has several years of experience working in water management and wastewater treatment. More recently, she has been supporting a number of Indigenous communities across Canada advance their interests in water protection and watershed governance.
