Carole Boulebsol is completing a Ph.D. in Applied Human Sciences at the Université de Montréal and has degrees in sociology, feminist studies, social work, and mental health. Her research focuses on the issue of reproductive coercion in intimate and family contexts. In addition to being a social worker, she is a professor in the Department of Social Work at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) - St-Jérôme Campus. With nearly fifteen years of experience in feminist intervention and research, transcultural approaches, qualitative research, and inclusive governance, her practical and theoretical interests include various forms of violence against women, mental health, migration, participatory research, group social work intervention, anti-oppressive approaches, and mentoring emerging professionals in both research and psychosocial intervention.
