Luka Stojanovic, 2024 Scholar, and Taiwo Afolabi, 2024 Mentor, invite members of the community to contribute to Field Notes: An Anthology, a publication project bringing together poetry, short prose, and visual works.

Scheduled for publication by Emissary Publishing House in June 2027, the anthology aims to bring together different forms of expression and create space for the voices, experiences, and perspectives of its contributors.

Call for Contributions

Interested contributors are invited to submit one work in one of the following formats:

• one poem, up to 2 pages;
• one prose piece, up to 500 words;
• one visual work, such as a photograph, painting, or collage.

Each submission must also include a short biography of up to 250 words and a description of the work of up to 150 words.

For written submissions, please provide a Microsoft Word or Google Docs file to facilitate the review and editing process. Visual works may be submitted in an appropriate format.

The deadline to submit a contribution is September 15, 2026.
