Steven Vanloffeld

Steven Vanloffeld is an Anishinaabe from Saugeen First Nation in Ontario. He has more than a decade of experience in Indigenous/government/community relations. He is founder of INDsight Consulting, a research, engagement and evaluation firm, and is also a former elected Band Councillor at Saugeen.

Prior to starting INDsight and his foray into community politics, Steven served as the Executive Director of the Association of Native Child and Family Service Agencies of Ontario, an organization whose members provide child welfare services to over 80 First Nation communities. Steven is pursuing a PhD in Geography at Western University. His research will explore consent and development in Indigenous territories as it relates to nuclear waste disposal.
