Bettina B. Cenerelli

Dr. Bettina B. Cenerelli is President & CEO (pro tem) of the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation. She was Director of Strategic Academic Planning and Student Affairs in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Simon Fraser University (SFU), in British-Columbia. Between 2011 and 2015, she was the Associate Director at the Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs at SFU, responsible for the French Cohort Program. Prior to SFU, she was the Program Director at the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation (Montréal, QC), editor at the University of Montréal Press (QC) and Assistant Professor at Mount Allison University (NB). She has completed her studies in Germany (FU Berlin; Universität Siegen) and in France (Université de Pau; École normale supérieure, Paris – pensionnaire étrangère; Sorbonne, Paris). She has a doctorate in French Literature (Siegen) and a First State Examination (1. Staatsexamen) in French and History (FU Berlin).
