Roxana completed her doctorate at the University of Oxford, where her research examined AI in high-stakes public domains. Roxana is a political science and migration scholar. Her work has been cited in the U.K. Government’s Ethics, Transparency, and Accountability Framework for Automated Decision-Making (2024) and has directly informed policy consultations with Canadian immigration officials and border agencies.
Roxana has a BA and MA in Political Science from The University of Winnipeg and The University of Manitoba, respectively, and a MSc in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford.
