The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is an independent, non-partisan, registered Canadian charity. It was established in 2001 to honour former Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation’s mission is to support the development of exceptional doctoral students, researchers, and public intellectuals who are at the forefront of their fields. Our goal is to position Scholars, Fellows, and Mentors to have a meaningful impact in their communities, institutions, and beyond.
