2026 Scholarship Program
The application period for the annual 2026 Doctoral Scholarship Competition officially ends on November 17, 2025.
Candidates may come from a range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences or other faculties and departments, but their research must be related to humanities and social sciences and to at least one of the Foundation's four themes.

The nomination process for the 2026 Fellowship Program closed on November 17, 2025. Stay tuned, more news will follow soon.
The Foundation nominates up to four (4) Fellows per year, chosen among full professors (or near the rank of full professor) at Canadian universities, for a mandate of three (3) years. Candidates must be nominated by their home universities. Direct applications are not accepted.
