Joel Bernbaum (he/him)

Joel Bernbaum is a playwright, director and journalist. He is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts, Carleton University, and the University of Saskatchewan, where his dissertation was about the potential of verbatim theatre as a community development process. Joel’s produced plays include Operation Big Rock, My Rabbi (with Kayvon Khoshkam),  Home Is a Beautiful Word (with Michael Shamata), Being Here: The Refugee Project (with Michael Shamata), and Reasonable Doubt (with Yvette Nolan and Lancelot Knight). Joel is currently a post doctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia.
