The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation’s mission is to support the advancement of outstanding, cutting-edge PhD students, researchers and public intellectuals. Our goal is to position the Scholars, Fellows, and Mentors to have meaningful impacts in their communities, institutions and beyond.

Empowering tomorrow's leaders

The Foundation acts as a catalyst for enriching conversations by highlighting the diversity of viewpoints and creating spaces conducive to collective reflection. As a disseminator and facilitator, the Foundation enables its community to promote its achievements, share its results, and ensure their concrete impact on society.

Supported by Fellows and Mentors during their three years with the Foundation, Scholars develop skills that will enable them to push academic boundaries and enrich their doctoral studies, transforming their ideas into actions for the advancement of communities, Canada, and the world.
