Julien O. Beaulieu is a doctoral researcher in environmental policy research at Imperial College London (United Kingdom). His research, which combines methods from economics, law and environmental science, focuses on corporate liability in relation to climate change, including lawsuits for greenwashing and loss and damages linked to climate change, as well as public policies aimed at compensating the victims of climate change.
Before moving into the world of research, Julien worked for two years as a competition and foreign investment lawyer and for one year as an economist at the Department of Finance of Canada. A lawyer since 2018, Julien is also a lecturer at the Université de Sherbrooke, where he teaches competition law and corporate social responsibility law.
