Fulbright Canada – Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Fellowship Opportunity

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and Fulbright Canada have established a dedicated research Chair in Contemporary Public Policy, which represents a rewarding, multi-faceted opportunity to contribute to our Foundation's mission. Each year, one Fulbright Canada - Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Fellow is chosen to help deliver the Foundation's Engaged Leadership curriculum, Building Brave Spaces, alongside other Fellows and Mentors, to our corresponding cohort of bold, innovative Scholars. 

 

Fulbright Canada - Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Joint Chair in Contemporary Public Policy Fellow will also have the opportunity to participate in the Foundation's events, including the Institutes of Engaged Leadership. Other benefits of the Fellowship include a generous grant and travel allowance, as well as eligibility to apply for Fulbright Canada alumni grants to take on community projects. 

 

In 2020, the first Fulbright Canada - Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Fellow was appointed. Dr. Randall Harp is a professor of Philosophy at the University of Vermont.

 

FULBRIGHT CANADA - PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU FOUNDATION FELLOW / JOINT CHAIR IN CONTEMPORARY PUBLIC POLICY 2020

 

This year, the Fellow will have the opportunity to participate, beginning in September 2021, in a 4-month residential exchange at McGill Institute for the Study of Canada (MISC). Note: the timing of this exchange may be flexible due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
