    Profile

"The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation scholarship is dedicated to nurturing scholars early in their careers by connecting them with leading thinkers, activists, and policy-makers across Canada and internationally. The Mentorship program especially enriched my experience as a Trudeau Scholar, where Dr. Arthur Hanson guided me towards greater integration in my interdisciplinary thinking about the role of governance for sustainable development.

To me, the greatest gift of the Trudeau Foundation Scholarship is that it offers experiences far beyond the ones normally available within an academic degree: it demands that its Scholars move outside their immediate fields of research to experience and integrate diverse perspectives across a range of important issues. It also supports Scholars in thinking critically about their contributions to society, both as academics and as citizens. Most importantly, the Trudeau Foundation supports a vibrant community of people that are shaping society through intellectual and political engagement."
