For more than 10 years, Kathleen developed her professional skills in tandem with her academic pursuits, first as research and teaching assistant, then as a lecturer in the field of political science and international relations. Recognized for her strong writing skills and passion for human and social sciences, she has contributed to various publications and academic conferences and was guest researcher at Georgetown University’s Mortara Center for International Studies (Washington, DC) and the Institute for European Integration Research in Vienna (Austria). More recently, she worked as European affairs attaché at the Québec Government Office in Brussels as well as advisor for European affairs at the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie of Québec.

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and International Law from l’Université du Québec à Montréal as well as a Master’s degree in Political Science (with great distinction) and a Ph.D. in Political Science (with distinction) from l’Université de Montréal. For her doctoral dissertation on American diplomacy, she won the 2017 best dissertation award of the department of Political Science at l’Université de Montréal.
