2006 Trudeau scholar Kate Hennessy has written and has participated to a few articles and books in 2012.

- She is the author of the article entitled  "Cultural Heritage on the Web: Applied Digital Visual Anthropology and Local Cultural Property Rights Discourse", which has been published in the International Journal of Cultural PropertyCambridge University Press).

- She has collaborated to the book "Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage," coedited by Michelle L. Stefano, Peter Davis et Gerard Corsane, which is about the increased recognition of intangible heritage that has brought to light its undervalued status within the museum and heritage sector, and raised questions about safeguarding efforts, ownership, protective legal frameworks, authenticity and how global initiatives can be implemented at a local level.

- She has cowritten an article for the web in conjunction with the 16th Annual Museums and the Web Conference that was held in San Diego. The article is entitled "Virtual Repatriation and the Application Programming Interface: From the Smithsonian Institution’s MacFarlane Collection to “Inuvialuit Living History”.
