2009 mentor James Bartleman has completed a fourth social justice novel on the Indigenous condition. The new book, entitled A Matter of Conscience (Dundurn), addresses murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls and the Sixties Scoop. It build on extensive background research. The novel will be released in May 2018 and is available for advance purchase. This fourth novel completes As Long as the Rivers Flow, a social justice story about issues related to residential schools.
