A new article on why people begin to inject drugs and what we can do about it, written by 2012 Trudeau Scholar Dan Werb, is now published in this month’s issue of the Walrus magazine. The article is entitled “The Fix - A new way of thinking about the intractable problem of injection drug use.”

Dan Werb is a Ph.D. candidate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of British Columbia. He is seeking effective ways to prevent injection drug use among vulnerable populations such as Vancouver's street youth.
