McGill University constitutional law professor and 2004 Trudeau Fellow Roderick MacDonald was appointed by Quebec Prime Minister Jean Charest as one of the two co-commissioners of the public inquiry commission on corruption and collusion in the construction industry on November 9. The two-year probe is chaired by Madam Justice France Charbonneau of Quebec Superior Court. See the article in The Globe and Mail.

Roderick A. Macdonald

He was one of the foremost Canadian specialists on secured transactions and property law in Canada, Mr. Macdonald died of cancer on 13 June 2014. Named a Trudeau fellow in 2004, he is greatly missed by the Trudeau community.
