2003 Trudeau scholar Robert Leckey, full professor specializing in constitutional and family law, has been appointed dean of the Faculty of Law of McGill University. Leckey’s five-year term will begin on 1 July 2016.

“Professor Leckey has distinguished himself in a leadership capacity, both within McGill and across Canada,” says Christopher Manfredi, McGill’s provost and vice-principal academic.

Robert Leckey teaches constitutional law and family law. His ongoing research includes the regulation of adult conjugality, relations between parents and children, and the relationship between public and private regulation of intimacy.
