2013 scholar Anna-Louise Crago has been named a 2016 recipient of the Governor General’s Awards in Commemoration of the Persons Case, which recognizes individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the goal of equality for women and girls in Canada. The award recognizes her work as a human rights advocate, social service-provider and researcher in sex-work and street-involved communities.
