The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is very pleased to welcome Catherine Buteau-Boisseau as Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Catherine will provide a wide range of administrative, logistical and outreach support services to contribute to the Foundation's objectives within the framework of its four founding themes.

With more than 20 years of experience, Catherine Buteau-Boisseau has built her career around the world, from Europe, to Canada and the United States. Through her experiences, she has worked at the United Nations (ICAO), and at several renowned law firms. She also worked as a journalist at the White House during Barack Obama’s term as President, and for Voice Of America in the French-language African Department where she specialized in women's issues.

Catherine Buteau-Boisseau is an accomplished, multilingual professional. She is a doctoral candidate in political science at the Washington Center in the United States and holds a law degree from Paris X University in France and from the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom.
