14 February 2012 - 7:00pm

Professor Létourneau will explore the sensitive question of the social role of history, and will reflect on the task of writing a past that is both rooted in true knowledge and accomplishes a practical purpose. He will also venture to suggest a form that a future history of Quebec might take. The lecture will take place partly in English and partly in French. Simultaneous translation will be offered and a reception will follow. The event is open to the public and is free of charge. We look forward to seeing you there!
