PROGRAM NOW AVAILABLE

Welcome to the tenth annual Mentor-Scholar Retreat and Summer Institute of the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation. This year’s meetings will consist of five days of panels, discussion sessions, speeches, and networking around the theme of leadership in complex times. Scholars, mentors, and fellows will explore capacity-building, mediation and negotiation techniques, and convening and working with adversaries on complex problems. They will be introduced to the Foundation’s new areas of inquiry, and enjoined to brainstorm ways to advance these areas through their research and collaboration. View the draft program.

Please prepare for the Institute by reading Transformative Scenario Planning by Adam Kahane, chairman (North America) of Reos Partners. This year’s Institute will open with Adam presenting an overview of the methodology and experience described in his book, which will inform much of the discussion on leadership that will take place during the event.
