The Canada Research Chair in Quebec and Canadian Studies and The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation will launch  the book of interviews with 2007 Trudeau mentor Monique Bégin (Boréal, series « Trajectoires », 2016), on 12 October. This event will feature short speeches by Ms. Bégin, the author Daniel Raunet and professor Alain-G. Gagnon, director of the series and 2010 Trudeau fellow.

Monique Bégin

She is a former Federal Minister of Health and a current Professor Emeritus at the University of Ottawa. She has received 15 honorary doctorates for her contributions to human rights and public policy.
