As part of her Trudeau project, on 13-15 September 2017 in Halifax, 2015 fellow Jocelyn Downie is organizing an international conference on end-of-life law, ethics, policy, and practice. This is a multidisciplinary, multisectoral, and multinational conference, with presenting disciplines including, but not limited to, law, medicine, nursing, philosophy and bioethics, and sectoral representation spanning practitioners, academics, NGOs, and regulators and policy-makers.
